Sustainability and Climate Action Certification Course

In 2015, the UN launched the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Adopted by 193 member states, the goals represent an important international step in setting humanity on a trajectory towards sustainable development. Within this course, you will get an overview of how sustainability efforts can be implemented and scaled across your departments. While all of the SDGs are essential to sustainable development, SDG 13, Climate Action, is usually perceived as the most urgent in terms of the need for a swift implementation on a global scale. Therefore, particular focus is given to this SDG.

This five – module course on sustainability and climate action in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals is designed by Auroville Consulting for officials to integrate into their departments and for individuals who care about the environment and want to be involved in applying sustainability management solutions in their area of work. Each of the 5days in this program varies in its course offerings and focus, and some have a more general approach while others explore specific subjects.

The program consists of 5 webinars, 3 hours each, over the span of 5 weeks
